Program: Paraprofessional Preparation for Extraordinary Teaching (PPET)

Program: This distance learning program is funded to provide coursework meeting licensure requirements in special education with endorsement in learning disabilities, emotionally disturbance, or mental retardation for eligible personnel. The applicant must have a bachelors degree from an accredited institution, never have held a teaching license, and must be employed fulltime with a contracted position as a paraprofessional, teacher's aide, substitute teacher, or other non-licensed personnel in a school division or state-operated program in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Ending Date: September 30, 2007 (may continue beyond this date, provided grant funding is awarded)
